Learning About CAREER, IUCRC, MRI, MsRI Proposals Development Using Large-Scale Testing and Multi-University Collaboration
The FIU NHERI Wall of Wind (WOW) Experimental Facility (EF) will be hosting an in-person user workshop. Financial support for travel will be provided (hotel and flight arrangements will be managed by FIU including up to $550 for airfare and a two-night stay at the designated hotel).
The focus of the workshop is to:
- Learn about CAREER, IUCRC, MRI, MsRI proposals development using large-scale testing and multi-university collaboration.
- Learn about recent NSF projects focused on nature-based and bio-inspired strategies.
- Provide one-on-one sessions between NHERI team members and workshop participants to discuss ideas on proposal development.
- Provide a tour of WOW EF and information on its new capabilities (PIV, RTHS, and downburst simulations).
- Provide a platform for collaboration to facilitate multi-disciplinary, multi-hazards proposals.
