NSF NHERI Research at the Forefront During the 13th National Conference on Earthquake Engineering

Numerous earthquake engineering researchers connected to NSF-funded NHERI facilities and projects will present their work at the 13NCEE, in Portland, Oregon

NHERI Network-affiliated researchers involved in earthquake engineering will be sharing their work throughout the upcoming 13th U.S. National Conference on Earthquake Engineering, taking place July 13 through 17, in Portland, Oregon.

Organized by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, EERI, this quadrennial meeting is the most influential and well-attended earthquake engineering conference in the United States. Professionals from the full spectrum of the earthquake community will gather to discuss and debate new research, advancements in practice, and a multitude of new and ongoing issues related to seismic hazard, risk, mitigation, and public policy that have emerged in the last four years.

The NSF NHERI Network leadership team is pleased to be an advertising partner for the 13NCEE. In addition, the list of conference organizers includes many NHERI leaders and researchers, including NHERI SimCenter's Laura Lowes, University of Washington, who serves as 13NCEE organizing committee co-chair.
