StEER Reconnaissance Work in the News

The Structural Extreme Events Reconnaissance network (StEER) and its report on the March 2-3 tornadoes in Tennessee recently was covered by the Nashville affiliate of Fox News. The event killed 26 people. The in-depth news article features a discussion with David Roueche, member of the StEER leadership team, who visited multiple sites in the affected area from March 9-13. Roueche discusses building code deficiencies in the damaged structures — in Nashville and in other U.S. regions prone to tornado winds.
