Honors for Boulanger

Congratulations to Ross Boulanger for honors received at the 16th Symposium on Earthquake Engineering held at IIT Roorkee, India, held in December 2018.
Boulanger directs the Center for Geotechnical Modeling at UC Davis, one of the NHERI experimental facilities.
Boulanger received the prestigious Indian Society of Earthquake Technologys Shamsher Prakash Prize for Excellence in Geotechnical Engineering, along with co-recipient was Ikuo Towhata of the University of Tokyo. The award honors individuals for a lifetime of outstanding contributions in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering.
At the 16SEE, Boulanger also gave the Indian Society for Earthquake Technology (ISET) lecture. His talk was entitled Analyses of liquefaction effects for an interbedded soil deposit: Çark Canal in the 1999 M7.5 Kocaeli Earthquake. (PDF abstract).
